How To Feel Great

One thing that always motivates us to continue working on our goals is confidence and feeling great.  Many times fear and emotions get in the way. We feel stuck in our fear.  We don’t “feel” like we’re progressing on our goal.  It could be because of stress, our circumstances, we’re hurt, or there’s just too much drama that gets in the way.  And instead of channeling such negativity into a healthy outlet, we let it out on family and friends, we talk too much, we drink, smoke, fight or just mope around. 

So what do we do?  How can we get back to feeling great?  We release the negative emotions.  We release whatever is getting in the way of feeling great. 

Lately, I’ve been working on a few personal goals.  In doing so, I’ve realized what I view as my faults could be channeled into something positive.  For instance, the other day I was feeling down.  I felt trapped in the emotion of feeling down. So I took a dance class.  The teacher said something simple but so powerful, “This dance is all about feeling.”  So I put that feeling on the dance floor, and released it.  I got home, and continued working on my goals with even more motivation.

So next time you’re feeling down or frustrated, RELEASE IT into a healthy outlet: write, dance, pray, meditate, go running, or hit a punching bag.  EXPRESS yourself.

Then once you’ve released it, leave it. 
And get back to work.
